Type for Resistance

In this assignment, art and design students design a protest poster that resists war by advocating for peace and emulates renowned artist Shepard Fairey's Make Art Not War artwork. Some students chose to advocate for other social issues like climate change and antisemitism. To purchase a poster using Venmo, CashApp, or an equivalent, email the student directly by clicking on the “Buy It” button. One hundred percent of the profit goes to the student designer. Neither Professor Bennett nor the Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan will receive any proceeds from the sale.
